Camp Scully's Legendary Leaders is the only American Camp Association accredited Leadership Day Camp in the Capital Region. A unique program designed for 14 and 15 year old campers, it is a safe and high quality experience that allows teenagers an opportunity to build leadership and group facilitation skills. The program focuses on team bonding and a deepened sense of responsibility in both the day-to-day interactions and overall camp experience. Participants will identify personal leadership styles and individual strengths while developing community. Activities will include ropes course (low and high), unique and original youth-designed games and activities, art projects, role play, scavenger hunts, raft design/build project and so much more.

Quality supervision with amazing memories costs $400 per 2-week session including lunch each day.

Extended Hours: Early drop-off at 7:15 a.m. & late pick-up at 6 p.m. is available for an additional $30 per week. (Go to the gym, get the grocery shopping done...pedicure perhaps?)

Stay for our Campfire program on Monday night. We'll feed you camper dinner before they join an additional activity and attend our campfire with the overnight campers. Pick up is at 9 p.m. and the cost is $30.

A cooked lunch will be provided at no extra charge made right on site by our cook. We follow USDA guidelines with all of our meals and ensure all children receive a nutritious and healthy snack in the afternoon. Here is our menu. Alternatives available at every lunch are breakfast cereal (usually cheerios and cornflakes) and peanut butter and jelly sandwich (it's actually soynut butter but we still call it peanut butter).

If you would like to pack your own lunch, you may certainly do so. All we ask is that your child eat their packed lunch if you pack it. Please do not pack peanut products as we try not to have nuts on site.

Of course the Snack Shack is available too, at rest hour. If you have questions about our menu please email us.

A New York State licensed Registered Nurse (RN) is on duty 24/7 at Camp Scully. The nurse takes care of all medications and bumps and bruises. Rest assured, if anything happens to your child they will receive prompt and expert professional care and you will be contacted. You will need a completed Health History Form. If you've sign up for the Overnight Experience in Week 7, you must also complete the Physician's Exam Form, for which you'll need doctor's signature.  All forms are due June 9th.
